About Lesson

Mohammad Fallahi-Sichani obtained his MSc and Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering in 2012 from the University of Michigan. His graduate work, under the joint supervision of Jennifer Linderman and Denise Kirschner, focused on the development of multi-scale modeling methods to investigate inflammatory signaling mechanisms in the context of M. tuberculosis infection. He completed his postdoctoral training as an LSRF postdoctoral fellow in Systems Biology at Harvard Medical School, working with Peter Sorger during 2012-2017. He is currently an Assistant Professor of Biomedical Engineering at the University of Virginia. Mohammad’s research has been funded by the NCI K99/R00 Award, V Foundation for Cancer Research, DoD Career Development Award, and the Maximizing Investigators’ Research Award (MIRA) from NIGMS.
